About Silver Mirror Facial Bar
Your New York City destination for results-driven facial treatments. Ready to reflect your best self?
Silver Mirror is a facial bar that offers unique and customized facial treatments to help you achieve your skincare goals. From our Anti-Aging Facial to our Acne-Fighting Facial, all of our facials are designed to target and address your skincare concerns with personalized care.
Every facial at Silver Mirror is packed from beginning to end with premium machines (LED, electric muscle stimulation, high-frequency, etc), high-end products, and top-notch estheticians to treat your skin. All of our facials include customized exfoliation using hydradermabrasion, light chemical peels and more; these services are usually expensive add-ons at other places, however, at Silver Mirror, they are included in your facial. At the end of each facial, a vitamin-enriched oxygen treatment is used to perfectly reinvigorate your skin.
Maintaining healthy skin is an ongoing process. We have worked to make the process affordable and in sync with your busy schedule. We now offer memberships and packages so that you can get your facial fix on a regular basis and maintain your healthy skin lifestyle.
Silver Mirror is a new facial bar in the heart of Upper East Side and Flatiron districts of Manhattan and Dupont Circle in Washington, DC, which is introducing a fresh and decidedly modern approach to skincare. We are changing the way consumers think about, take care of, and maintain their skin.
We understand that most skincare solutions are less than perfect. Spa facials, medical dermatology, at-home products and laser treatments can be expensive, time-consuming, confusing and frustratingly ineffective. Silver Mirror was started to solve those problems.
It’s a simple concept: great skin takes consistent upkeep. Just like going to the gym regularly or getting weekly manicures, you have to perform ongoing maintenance in order to see results. You may think you don’t have time—but that’s where we come in.
Silver Mirror makes it easy for you to prioritize your skincare. Our facials are fast and affordable, yet completely customized, and above all, results-driven and effective. We provide exceptional products, technologies and facialists—you simply stop in for a facial treatment every week or two. After one visit, you’ll glow. Over time, you’ll achieve healthy, beautiful skin that lasts.
Our Story
Cindy and Matt became good friends in business school after meeting on a student trek through India. While eating and touring their way from Goa to Mumbai, they discovered that they both share a passion for retail entrepreneurship, public service, and Marvel movies.
After business school, Cindy went on to found the Korean beauty e-commerce site Peach and Lily. Matt went on to found Pickfit, a digital fashion company that provided users with real-time feedback on fashion items.
Cindy’s extensive experience in the beauty industry made her realize that something was missing in the world of understanding and achieving better skin. With finicky skin of her own, using good beauty products, getting expensive facials, and going to the dermatologist all proved to be frustrating and fruitless in her endeavor for great skin. The missing piece, she found, was frequent treatments in the form of fast and affordable facials – the kind she used to enjoy on a weekly basis while living in Korea.
Matt was looking for a new challenge in the skincare space after exploring potential brick-and-mortar concepts around the country. He and Cindy teamed up at the beginning of 2015 to explore the concept of a new destination for facial care. After a year of market research to truly understand the skincare needs of people from New York to Los Angeles to London, Silver Mirror was born.
Silver Mirror opened its first location on the Upper East Side of Manhattan in May 2016 to wide critical acclaim. It continues to enjoy a growing popularity among local and visiting clientele. The team opened its second facial bar in the vibrant Flatiron district of Manhattan in December 2018. Its third facial bar opened in Washington, D.C.’s Dupont Circle in July 2019. Silver Mirror’s facial bars are arriving in other dynamic U.S. cities next year.

At Silver Mirror, we are just as passionate about positive change in the world as we are about skincare.

This season we are proud to offer our Seasonal Hydrating facial that will be directing a portion of proceeds to the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation.
